Hi![8D] I found some CDRWs that a friend of mine copied for me some time ago using Packet writing (I think he used HP CDWriterPlus) in an external HP CD writer. I have a Plextor CD writer, and tried to reformat these CDRWs using Nero, InCD and the CD writing software that comes with Ulead DVD Picture Show, but I COULDN'T DO IT!!![V] I got errors and do n't know a way around it!! What I would really want is to format the CDRWs so I can use them with Nero (I'm giving up Packet writing, after having some other problems, except for backups). Can anyone help me? [:(] Thanks!! It is possible that if the media has been used many times, its useless for futher use, so that's why the Plextor drive cannot format (erase) them

What I would really want is to format the CDRWs so I can use them with Nero (I'm giving up Packet writing, Just wanted to let you know that what you want to do is ERASE the CDRW, not format. Formatting is the process of preparing the disc/diskette/HDD/etc by making tracks/sectors and a files allocation table. You may want to try erasing at a slower speed.
