Folks,

just got my 1640P send to me. As it turns out, it's a bulk version (no flashy ligiths, firmware B, name PBDV1640P).

So, I did this:
Flashed the drive to B2.5, which worked fine with DVD, but not fine with CD-Rs.
Flashed the drive to P2.5, which won't work at all anymore with CD-Rs.

Now, I cannot flash back to B2.2 as the Philips flasher do a version check. Yes, I goofed up.
Can someone provide me a B2.2 firmware as CVT so I can get my drive back working, please? I'm really stuck on this :/

Sorry if this is sorta off-topic here, but I thought that a question about firmware fits in well.

Why you won't flash it with the BenQ firmware?

I can send you the cvt file and another one for flashing your drive to be BenQ (much better firmware: once your drive is BenQ upgrade its firmware to version b7t9. This is the one I'm using at the moment and works properly with all media).
With the two files you can convert your drive to BenQ and back to Philips whenever you want.
