Atlantis -> New Asus 5224 1.2 Firmware (3/1/2003 1:31:58 AM) Just wondering if any fellow CRW5224 owners have applied this firmware yet ? It appears that it has made all of my write speeds slower than v1.1 CDs that I could previously write at 48x can now only be written at 32x. Any ideas ? I am using 40x TDK media.

Atlantis -> RE: New Asus 5224 1.2 Firmware (3/10/2003 11:46:57 AM) I never had any problems writing at 40x onto my brand new TDK 40x CDs before. Now I am forced to write at 32x which defeats the purpose of a 52x burner really. I even have 48x CDs which I can only write at 32x. Since the firmware upgrade (or should that read downgrade?) my maximum writing speed regardless of CD brand/type is now 32x :(
