I want to make a bootable cd with repair tools and programs etc. and suggest some good tools/programs to have on it.

Does anyone know of how to do this and what software you need to make one.

there are already several made bootdiscs with such utilities, i don't remember theis names..

You can try this site. But get ready for some serious reading [:)]
I would suggest to see the ones already available, maybe one of them will suit you or need minor modifications to meet your needs.

You can try as a first to check out the UBCD (Ultimate Boot CD) found at http://ubcd.sourceforge.net/
It is open source as well, so no need to worry about copyrights.
