apoch -> Adding Fans (9/7/2004 1:16:36 PM)

I own a Dell Optiplex GX270 Desktop. I would like to add fans to my PC since the fans I have right now are only for the processor and the PSU.

I would like to ask where should I place the the fans on my casing? On top?
What do you think is the speed of the fan that I should install? I do not mind too much noise.

some pictures of my current setup:

couldnt realy see much sinc you were showing the top of the cpu fan and not the inside of the case itself. but if you need an xtra fan 1 at the top or back blowing out should be fine. where ever it will fit best.

What tempratures do you have now?

I don't know. My PC doesn't have thermal sensors.

Such desktops have solve such problems

The reason why I plan to add some fans is that I had a blown capacitor on my motherboard two weeks ago. The technician said that it was because of overheating.
