question about connections from Front panel

There are connectors that read VCC D- D+ on them and a ground. The connectors are different from the ones in the old case, I think they have to do with USB ports but I'm not sure what to look for on the mainboard. Also, the connectors for the mic. and speakers in the front, do they go to the mainboard or sound card? Information on front panel wiring seems to be kind of hard to find.
