10 works quite well for me too... although at the moment I only have 6 going at the same time, the other 4 are either on lend to family members, on my bookshelf collecting dust (Plextor Premium drive...) and one of them appears to AWOL in the U.S. for quite a while now [:(]

My 2 cents : seems that this charts compare NEC 2500 vs NEC 3500 clones...
and not NEC 2510 since there's official DVD+R DL 2.4x support in this last case.
