As many people requested, members can upload gif/jpg/png pictures among with their posts, please behave according to this forum rules and post only proper images, posts are not moderated, but if users abuse this service, measurements will be taken [;)]

Upload limit is 60Kb and you can place 2-4 pictures at each post according to each subforum rules, at some forums picture upload is not yet opened, let me know if you need it...[:)]

Have fun! [;)]

Thanks. Tried to use the very handy DVDinfo feature to save a JPG screenshot, but it was too big (over 100kb) to post - might be nice to raise the limit/reduce the DVDinfo screenshot filesize...

You may try to get some freeware graphic tools which can allow you to re-compress your JPEG.
This will solve your problem. Or maybe consider to convert it to PNG.

Try using PNG, will give much less file size

Tried all the formats as Photoshop 7 is so versatile - even tried reducing the screen resolution and a couple of extra tricks. Best I could do was to increase the jpeg compression to the target filesize limit, but it's tedious.

Most paint software doesn't make it easy to produce a 79.9kb jpeg on demand. Good place to do it would be in DVDinfo - that's why I suggested it here...

As the info is text, checkboxes and ads, a "save as HTML" facility next to the existing "save as Jpeg" one, for instance, would get the screen size down something wunnerful...

I tried 5 times to upload pictures various sizes from 24k to 57k, and it says the are too large each time.
