There are no damaged files that I know of, all I know is when I use that Motherboard I can last only a week. running the exact same files and hardware along with cables on an older motherboard I have no probs at all. If you can dig around and come up with any clues I would be most greatful...

Why a celeron which goes for $58 and you can get a XP2000 retail for $63 (NewEgg). You can compliment that with a Shuttle MN31L for $78 with a onboard video chip (MX440) or another nforce2 mobo with the same chip that's popular is by ABIT for around $90. An XP2000 will slaughter a celeron. I built 3 of these systems with no problems.

I have never used a "Jetway". That is either a new brand to me, or a name change I havent heard about yet. Unless you can find a qualified review for the same model board, I would not buy it.

I have used several different brands of boards for personal use. I will rate them from 1 to 10, 10 being the highest, at least the ones I can remember.

8 - Shuttle Spacewalker (P166)
7 - Supermicro Dual P2 (266)
5 - MSI K7T266 (Ath 2100)
6 - MSI KM2M (Ath 2100)
9 - Soyo P4X400 (P4-2.53)
5 - Asus P4T-E (P4-1.8)
8 - Asus P2B (P2-300)
8 - AOPEN (Model?) (P-233)
10 - FIC (Model?) (P-200)
9 - Mustang (Model?) (P-233)

I cannot remember the details of the others.

The brands I would recommend looking at for a SECOND pc would be....

Aopen
Abit
Gigabyte
Shuttle
Soyo (Check the online shops thread for a freebate deal)

I know the crowd loves Asus, but I have never been particularly thrilled with their performance. Stability on the other hand, they have always delivered in my personal experience, and that of friends. Just slowly when compared to others.

If you want a solid recommendation I would have to say the board that gave me the least trouble, had the lowest price, above average performance, and got the most use, would be the Shuttle I had. I still have it somewhere in a box, but it ran for 5 years before I decomissioned the machine. You can usually find a Shuttle mAtx with Vid/Snd/Nic built in for around $60.

Brands to AVOID....

PC Chips (They should come with toilet tissue)
Intel (They go or they blow)
Biostar (Same as Intel. They work forever or they blow in a few months)
Mach Speed (The name says it all)
Syntax (Syntax Error)
ASRock (Same as Mach)

Good luck, let us know what you decide!
