s205521 -> InCD application error on startup (6/18/2002 11:24:13 PM)

I have a win xp pro machine that was running InCD 3.28 perfectly. I decided to upgrade to 3.31. When it asked me where I wanted to install the file, I chose a different partition than what the previous version was installed on. Now, after I login, the spash screen comes up like normal but 5 seconds later an error message pops up staing that there is a fault in incd.exe and it has to close. I have since uninstalled, and reinstalled many times, and even gone back to 3.28, but still get the same error message. I am trying to avoid a clean system install
