Dodgy quality?

I have these CDRs and looking round the outside edges of them you can see they're not very smooth. The plastic's a bit blobby in places. Is this a bad sign?

I've seen Intenso (Prodisc Technology Inc.) disk that look bobbly at the outer edge but feel smooth enough. They worl fine but then I've never burned one righ to the edge.
