I recently purchased a QPS 24/10/40 CDRW and it has a firmware version of 6z34 manufactured July 2001. Another person purchased one and it was manufactured in June 2001 with version 6z24. Anyone know what the difference might be? It obviously seems like an update but what issues did it address? Just curious more than anything.

and get the latest update. It will work because the 24x TDK is the same (rebadged Sanyo).
