regarding the news topic - EU imposes anti-dumping penalties on Taiwan's CD-R industry (2)

i looked over the first one, but i guess im still missing something
what does 'dumping' mean in terms of cdr/cdrw media manufacturers

from the first article, it sounds like they just tossed them in the water or something - but that doesnt make any sense

As it seems many Taiwan CD-R manufacturers kept selling CD-R medias at very low prices so the EU gave them fines...

whats wrong w/ getting rid of old inventory ?

hell, thats why stores have sales
to make money and
to get rid of stuff so they can put new stuff in its place
