Hello. I've had my Toshiba SD-4980 DVD player for about 3 yrs. now and everything was working fine until just a few days ago. Every time I play back any media format, be it DVD, DVD-R CD-R, etc., the audio is VERY faint and/or nonexistent. If you turn the volume up to the highest setting, you can hear the audio, albeit very faintly, along with a rapid thumping sound akin to a boat motor. Is there any possible way of fixing this, or am I pretty much screwed? Thanx.
