mpt_fz -> Urgent!! (4/29/2008 9:20:38 AM)

I have a computer that have two drives c and d with OS in C drive.
C drive actually contains a lot of stuff I need.
D drive contains nothing important.

I encounter a error with starting the OS: missing hal.dll.

So, I tried to install windows xp in d drive using a CD and succeed.

Then,without making a copy of C to D, using the sony file reovering system, I tried to recover the system in C.
This means that I will be overwriting my C drive. As a result, I immidiately turn the power off. However, the file system for c is still damaged.

How do I recover the files under C?

Thanks a lot.

Ok, I have a different problem.
I am C and D drive on my computer.
D drive have windows XP on it and it is working.
C drive contains all the old data that I need.
However, it is quick formated.

What should I do to recover  the data from C drive?
