knighthawke -> CD-Writer Plus (9/30/2007 9:49:27 AM) I have an HP CD-Writer Plus 8000 Series, Model C4465-56000, Product Exchange HP C4465-60001/69001 and I need drivers for it. I can not find any on HP and this burner does not seem to exist. I would appreciate any help in finding the drivers for this thing.

The Bios recognizes the burner and I can boot from the burner, but once in windows the burner is not seen. I pulled the burner out and installed a regular CD-Rom and I have no problems at all. I can only assume it is a driver problem once in windows.

SithTracy -> RE: CD-Writer Plus (10/2/2007 11:23:21 AM) Try deleteing your IDE controllers from the Device Manager and rebooting to let Windows redetect them.
