Hello friends

I have a Dell-700M Notebook which is 2005 make.
Last day I downloaded the new firmware from the following dell support link.

I flashed the firmware to 203E and flashing was successful. After the flashing the drive is not reading any discs including CD-Roms nor writing. Can anybody help me to sort out this problem. This drive is still seen in the BIOS and Device Manager in Windows Xp. Drive is in Secondary Master configuration.
When I check with Nero tools. It shows all normal status.
