ive been wondering if transparent CD-R (like some sony, imation, and verbatim) is good or not. i usually use different IMATION designed cd and so far i encounter no problems.

but some of my cd-r king cds started to malfunction.some files can no longer be read in an audio cd player.

I haven't seen these on the market.  I don't see how transparent could work, since there has to be a reflective layer.

there's a transparent (or semi-transparent) imation and verbatim.there''s even an original audio cd that's semi transparent.Caedmon's Call-share the Well(sony-bmg/provident), The Afters-I Wish We All Could Win(columbia/sony-bmg).

I personally haven't used them, or even seen them, so I don't know.
