Have you properly connected the drive? Did you make all the appropriate setting in BIOS for boot sequence?

Yes, you must set CD-ROM to before the HDD, in the boot sequence of the BIOS of the mainboard. Then you can continue.

Also, if the install CD/DVD is user recorded, I have run into the problem once that the disc was not bootable, since the quality of the disc was so bad. I had to re-record the disc using a better medium/writer combination; then the disc could be booted properly.

Yes I have right now my HDD is set to boot after both my DVD and my floppy drive
and i have tried the following cds
FUJIFILMS 52x MULTISPEED.
PLATINUM 52x 800, 800 MEGABYTE.
VERBATIM datalifeplus 48x.
I have tried burning on all 3 with different (lower) speeds, and i have tried with three different versions of windows 64, and I just dont get it.
