what's your OS? Does your motherboard supports USB2.0?
If not then you'll need a new bios.

You probably want to pick up a Belkin USB2 PCI adapter.

hi
   how do i install it,is it pretty straightforward

MP3Mogul -> RE: usb 2 (1/16/2006 4:03:36 PM)

It's EXTREMELY easy.  You'll just remove the cover from your computer, install the card in an empty slot, then you'll reboot and install the software for it.  More than likely, WinXP will recognize it and install it for you, but it will come with a disc.  Very Very Easy to do.

hemelady -> RE: usb 2 (1/17/2006 5:17:58 AM)

all i know is i have packard bell pentium 4 with xp home edition

hemelady -> RE: usb 2 (1/17/2006 5:20:38 AM)

whrn you say remove the cover is that the back cover and what about the existing usb 1.1 do they remain there or get removed cheers

MP3Mogul -> RE: usb 2 (1/17/2006 5:49:10 AM)

It will be a side cover that removes, that gives you access to the motherboard, and yes the 1.1 stays there...it's built onto the motherboard
