this might be a newbie question, but i was confused about Parity Outer Error with Parity Inner Failure as kprove used POE as PIF

like most dvd burner reviews cdrinfo.com published, POE was scanned with plextools, but i have no idea how to interpret POE values.

what exactly is POE? what's the upper limit of POE values to be considered as a good burn?

As Plextools states:

"...in case of POF, there is a chance that the data will become unreadable..." which means that currently the specific data are not a problem for the drive but there is a possibility sometime to be. So the less the better...[;)]

well, that was shown when i tried to scan first time from the plextools, but i like to know what's the safe value of POE. cdrinfo.com's writing quality scans using plextools + 716a showed that POE can be very high which dosen't seem to have any corelation with PIE nor jitter (one think is related to smoothness of transfer test).

i was just wondering anyone know technical defintion of POE & its recommended limit

i guess there is no recommended limits; i was just bothered by some pikes in burst scans using plextools
