Why in all of yours tests of CPU the temp. is steady .. rise slowly .. and on my pc its more spiky .. looks like a mess ... completly different from your graphs :( http://www.cdrinfo.com/Sections/Reviews/Specific.aspx?ArticleId=15892&PageId=1 this is my graph .. only few sec. but thats the main concept .. it looks like this all the time :( is something wrong ? http://rapidshare.de/files/9926264/CPU_TEMP.JPG.html

The stronger the cooler, the more spikes you will have, (especially with a P4) as anything other than idle moves the temp in a P4, and as soon as it's idle again, even for a second, if you have a nice cooler it will drop... rise, drop... etc... I hope this helps out.

will try it .. turn off my PC for about 6 hours .. turn it on .. run the speedfan graph for about 1 hour without touchin anything nor runnin no program in the bg .. :) and report back !
