Hi, i just got notice an accident occurred and my topic was deleted, so here goes.... InCD is incompatible with VIA chipsets, no matter what you do with patches and updates, registry alteration, magic wands or incantations. I'm open to experienced suggestions. Already posted log files and toolkit report, no avail, updated firmware, bought nero 6 (argh), tried all updates and patches. i'm really torqued about it, as this great super duper machine is no good to me like this. nero pretty much works in the audio functions, but Incd will not format or recognize RW media. we aren't alone in this, and what a disappointment! all burners come with nero and incd now, so i'm looking at downgrading the system! uck. ka-ching! goes the cash register in my now severely aching head. please post or email if you have a fix (ahem, attention Nero people). thanks.

Well, one of my main test system is an athlon 1 Ghz computer with via chipset - I am able to do a full test of InCD's functionnality and even an endurance day-long test without trouble. Can you provide log files of InCD for your format problem, and infotool.txt?
