Dracula -> Which DVD's are best for NEC-ND3520A?? (5/6/2005 8:23:29 AM) Have just bought a new dvdburner and are looking for some dvd's to burn on. Any suggestions?? Have an eye on these... Infiniti DVD+R/4.7GB/8x/Cakebox Grade-A medier. 100 pcs. = DKK 200,00

(They used to be Ritek coated, until Ritek got more exclusive) Quality very high. 16x are MMC coated(Verbatim use this for their disc's) Quality excellent I can burn the 8x at 12x with little or no loss in quality The 16x I quite often burn at 12x for reference purpose's On average 16x twice the cost of 8x [8D]

(5/8/2005 4:07:27 AM) ive used several different DVD's and i havnt got a coaster yet. the ones off the top of my head that i tried were: HP 4x DVD+R (CMC Mag) Memorex 4x DVD+R (CMC Mag) Taiyo Yuden DVD-R (TYG02) Maxell DVD-R (MXL RG03) Verbatim 4x DVD+RW (MKM) MIT tho so its actually made by CMC Magnetics Optodisc 4x DVD+RW Verbatim DVD9 +R (MKM) Ridata (RICOHJPNR01) As Iggy said, the best media is Taiyo Yuden, Maxell (made in Japan), Verbatim (made in singapore). Where the media was made is very important.
