There wasn't a changelog included with the A304 firmware for the LG-4160B. Does anyone have any inside information on what has changed in this revision?

For sure some DVD-RW media codes were added

Where can i get A304? And is there any advantage to loading the latest 4163 firmware onto the 4160 drive? ie. does it unlock features or something?

4163 >> faster than 4160 for burning DVD-R (16x), DVD+R (8x), DVD-R(6x), 6xDVD+R DL, and also support booktype!

and it's impossible to load 4163 into 4160, the hardwares of 2 drives are different, and I think LG have locked their drive to prevent hacking!

we only can hope someone to hack the firmware of 4160 to add booktype feature and increase the burning speed!
