Hello! this is regarding on burning DIABLO 2 and DIABLO 2: LORD OF DESTRUCTION with all this SECUROM protection stuff. Please, I need help on how to create a backup copy of this games or any other games that has copy protection. Currently I am using CLONECD and have tried other forums to help me create a backup copy of my games but no luck so far. Here is the information of what I have and it'll be on list:

1. I am using Windows 2000 Professional
2. My CD Writer Model is HL-DT-ST CD-RW GCE-8400B (got it from Nero info.)OEM model if that helps.
3. The brand name of my CD writer is LG 40X 12X 40X
4. I'm trying to backup DIABLO II version 1.03 and DIABLO II: LORD OF DESTRUCTION (Expansion set) version 1.07.
5. The protection named on my cd is "SecuROM *new* V.4.47.00.0039"
6. I am playing this game on my cd-rom or both drive.
7. CPU speed is on 700 megahertz with RAM of 256mb.

Here you go this is all the information i can give you. I hope it'll help you to help me with this problem I am having =). Thank you for taking time to read my message.

flyinhigh hi
You recieve the error message when you try to install the expansion pack?
i manage to back up at least the image of the diablo2 game.I used a virtual windows 2000 prof system and by using clonyxxl i scan the disc and the protection of the game is securom.SecuromNew* datatype in alcohol and my plextor 16/10/40A makes a valid image which i load in the alcohol emulator and the game begins.
The cd which i used was the second one of the three which is and the playcd game
Hope that helps!
