hello
I have a bit problems with a plextor; I tried to do this test and ended with an error message.. is it due to the dvd+r in itself? or should I rma the drive?
my media is memorex printable dvd+r.
the error was 'address out of range.

The memorex I used on my 716A produced the same result, I threw them in the trashcan, and got Verbatim and Fuji (TY) media... everything is wonderful now.

Most printable I have use are less quality than the ordinary non printable version, I don't know, maybe a coincidence.

@ MarioGarcia

Since you have Plextools run a PI test intead of the jitter and also a CDSpeed, like in CDRinfo's reviews.

i'll follow your advices..
cd speed is ithe nero tool or is the read transfer test of plextools?
will come back with results..

CDSpeed is in the Nero Toolkit.

If the graph is smooth then the quality is good.
