I've recently updated the firmware on my NEC 3500AG DVD-RW drives, and now i can *sometimes* get 16x read speeds, but with some disks they seem to gradually achieve the faster read times, but they start at around 2x. Is there an option in DVD Decrypter that can have the drive pre-spin the disk to get it ripping faster when i start the rip process?

I think that DVD Decrypter has all the optimizations for all drives, the 3500A drive will read SL media up to 16X and DL media up to 7X
