I am new to using alcohol and I am trying to make a backup copy of sims deluxe. I am recieving this error when going through the process.

access violation at address 0049c8bc in module alcohol.exe. read of address 0013100d.

I am using the trial version.

Hardware: (Liteon dvd rom ltd 163), (Hl-dt-st cd-rw gce 8481b)
OS: windows xp
