Hi guys

Even though the Philips DVDRW824k/40 (Dual Format) is not even 1yr old, it seems that Philips already pulled the plug on firmware development on this. It stopped on P3.3, and it faces some probs on newer media (even 8x +R).

Does anyone has an inside info that confirms this?

Looks like the only progress is crossflashing to the Benq that it's based on

As mentioned, it will void a bundled Nero, because the make changes.
