I just got a new CD-RW drive (an Optorite CW4002), which came with Nero and InCD. So far, it's great on CD-R's for both audio and data.
But when I tried writing to a CD-RW using InCD, I now can't read it. From reading the posts elsewhere here, I guess packet writing isn't worth the hassle. But meanwhile, I moved this data onto CD-RW's, and want to get it back.
I had Nero 5.5.8.1 and InCD 3.2.8.1. When I put the CD-RW's back in to read, Nero says 'Access Failure!' when I try to read it in there. Windows either thinks the whole thing's empty, or says it's all full but still won't show me what's inside. I got the newer versions of Nero and InCD (5.5.10.7 and 3.5.20.0b respectively) from
www.nero.com, and that didn't help. I tried downloading InCD EasyWrite Reader to see if that would work, and all it did was crash my system. Help! [V]
I'm running Windows 98 SE on a K6/2-400 processor with an Intel 430TX chipset.
Thanks for any help!!
