Hi guys....ive been reading through all this stuff on ps2 hdd and hd advance etc etc and well....before i part with my hard earned cash id like to ask some questions plz :):)

#1 . which is better hd loader or hd advance. is there any differences at all. i mean are some games compatibal with one and not with the other?

#2 where can i get hold of a PAL version of whatever software is the better (hd loader or hd advance)?

#3 Can anybody suggest a good site that ships to the UK (england) that sells maxtor hard drives that work with the ps2 network adapter?

#4 also....for putting the games from pc to hard drive...can i purshase like a hard drive caddie...which wud be connected to the computer via USB. Wud those transfer programs (e.g. WinHIIP) pick up the hard drive if it was in the caddie?

#1 Really not much of a difference, From what I've heard, the exact games work for each of them.

this is probably a dumb quesion but is Maxtor the only type of hard drive that you can use, and if not, what are the other brands? Also, will you have to format the drive before you put it into your PS2?

Maxtor harddrives are the most compatible, but some other harddrives work too. Here is a list of drives that are suppose to work.
