I have a friend of mine that have a oem version of the drive. Is there a way to extract the firmware ?

you can download the B2.2 and the B2.5 from CDRinfo.com firmware site I have just checked it out before answering your request.

Exactly Minos, that's my point. My only problem is that i don't have and oem version of the firmware. I have 2 options: if there's a way to read the eeprom of another drive and extract the firmware, i can use it to flash mine. Or, if you or someone could give me an oem version, my problem is solved.
Is there a way to read my drive's EEPROM ?
