I own a LiteOn-165 dvd-rom and according to DVDinfopro it can't read DL-discs.

So i can't rip DL-discs with this dvd-rom?? Or can I?

I think 165H should read just fine the DL media, i will check it tomorrow

Maybe it's the wrong way off testing but if I do a PI/PO-errorterst the drive goes to 50% on a DL-disc.

Here's the speedtest (DVDinfopro). At the bottom of the image it says 8GB so I think this drive is able to rip DL-discs.

I had seen such problems with Kprobe, freezing at 50%, but the latest builds fixed that, maybe its a bug from DVDInfoPro that nicw should look about
