Does somebody know which firmware update I need to convert my LiteOn 40125W to a 48 speed burner?????

Yes but do I need to download the update in the list of 40 speed burners or in the 48 speed burners. That's not really clear to me and because I have a liteon 40125W burner should I then download a 48125W or 48125B?

Download the "ZSxx to VS06" file. Then run it. Make sure you do not shut off the computer until it says it is done. Then reboot, log on the internet and go to the liteon page to get the latest firmware for your new 48125w drive. I think they are up to VS08 so after this coversion you will be at VS06, and will want that update. This meathod worked well for me. I wish the guy who wrote these would do the newer ones too, they work so well. Hope this helps.....

actually, you don't need to reboot after flashing from ZSxx -> VSxx or at least *I* never have. I've done it 4 times now with only rebooting after the final flashing (ie. VSxx -> VS08). It doesn't even ask you to reboot when you do the first flash.
