Highly Reccomended

SpyBot-S&D searches your hard drive for so-called spy- or adbots; little modules that are responsible for the ads many programs display. But many of these modules also transmit information about your surfing behaviour and more to the net.

I personally use "SpySweeper" from Webroot... I previously used SpyBot and it's a great program as well.

No unfortunatly it is not, but it is WELL WORTH the registration fee, and they release new updated spyware definitions as often as Norton releases new virus definitions... I have had several spywares that SpyBot could not remove, or in some cases, did not find, but SpySweeper did, and it has well been worth the registration fee.
