I have been using this program to put sum video files on dvd with menus for a long time and now its not working...when i add the video files nd configure the menu and then when i go to output it...it starts to convert the videos to MPEG...when it gets to about 5% it says:

Failed to reuse converted cache file:
(4570)

..then i hit ok on the box..and then this one comes up:

unspecified error
report ID: 0x800411da(4570)
[14252:1:0]

...then i hit ok on that box..

I dont kniow whts wrong with it because ive been using it fine and it suddenly did that...

p.s i did check the folder it puts the converted files in and it was a read-only and i tried to change it but it didnt let me...idk if thats it

Yes indeed, available disk space and security settings are suspects in case of using an ntfs filesystem.

tht doesnt really help i still have alot of disk space left...like 75 gig so idk im sad

Try see if there is any patch that fixes this problem from ulead website (or search there for that specific problem)

umm not really if it expires u cant even open up the prg. im not stupid ive had it run out b4 on other computers so yea.. thats not it....

Looks like a software conflict to me.. have you installed any new software recently?

I experienced the same problem few days ago about a cashe error in ifoedit.
The program was not clever enough to understand that it was not a cashe problem but a misconfigure of my compilation.

Let us know your complation or try to make a new one with new files because i belive that one of your files is not proper for Ulead

yes....but ive done full projects before and it works just fine...ive used it over and over....its not a trial vs. full problem

thx jimmys ill try converting them all to mpeg first using EO video (very nice progggy) and add them and test it out that way

I didn't mend that
I beleive that the following error number accoring to your post
14252:1:0
is the exact area of the dvd that causes the problem
Don't mess with the old files
Try to make a new compilation
