Can someone please advise how i reformat an INCD formatted disk to a normal CDRW. As soon as I mount the disk InCD takes over. The only thing I can see to do is stop InCd from loading at startup! Is there another way ?

You should be able to turn INCD off after you load the disc. Then just erase the disk with something like Nero and it will be a normal CDRW again.

Visit www.cdrtimes.net too. Another great place....

I am lost as to how you turn it off. I ended up removing InCD from my computer and reformatting the disk.

If you have Nero and InCD installed, when you insert a CDRW media, InCD will detect it and launch, a Window will come up and allow you to choose to use Nero or InCD.

If you wish to use another program, you can do one of two things.

Right click on the InCD in the Systray and set it up so it does not launch upon bootup.

Or, you can first launch your other software like CloneCD, and then insert the media when prompted from the software. This way InCD can not take control.

Craig
