Hi guys,
My first post here.

I am unable to find if there is a firmware update for my new Blu-Ray writer. It is currently running FW 1.56 or so device manager claims.

Is there anyone that could point me in the right direction please?

Hi Jaseuk,

The v.1.06 firmware for the BDR-206 DBK should work for you:

Thanks for the fast reply.

I am assuming the S06XLB is just a 206DBK but in a retail package.

Will the v1.06 firmware be newer than the installed 1.56 version only its a lower number?

I have just tried updating to 1.06 but it says I already have the latest firmware.

Well then you probably have already the latest firmware installed. The latest one provided by Pioneer is v1.06. I am not sure why your drive's firmware is labeled differently.
