Hello people .  i have the Samsung 202N  all ready ordered . (bulk)
I have some good experience  with DVD-RWs from the past .
Still i have some questions .

From what Nero version, this writers are fully supported ?
I got Nero 7 Ultra Edition  ver 7.10.1.2 .

About the light scribe, i am a little bit confused .
I did download the latest system driver ( windows service ) , but i did not install it yet .
From the ppl , the informations are that Nero cannot handle correctly the images that are to be printed with the light scribe , something is wrong with the image size .

Is all this correct  ??  

The bottom line is, that there is no available here in the forum, one short guide , of  what a new owner with this writer,  should do , so to easily setup his system.
At list, one list with the versions of the software that he should use , it would be helpful for the moment .

I know that Nero working for one solution (Light scribe  fix ) , will this solution be available for Nero 7 .. 

I am confused , my message is confusing ...  give me some help to clear things up .

I have the SH-S203B and when I did use Nero, it worked okay... I dumped Nero... and I have never owned or had interest in a LightScribe drive... Perhaps MP3Mogul has something to add since he has the 203N and still uses Nero (I think 8).

Yeah, go to lightscribe.com and download THEIR driver, and then they have a freeware labeling program that does a SUPERB job.  That's what I use.

I just got my drive .. Samsung SH-S202N .. it came with firmware  SB01 .

I will try to setup the light scribe software  soon . 

The first thing that i liked in this drive is that its a low noise one .

Good, SB01 is the latest firmware for the drive... let us know how the lightscribe works out.  I don't use it that often, mostly for presentation on a disc I give to someone.

Ok, i did install the light scribe  windows (system ) driver,  ver 1.10.27.1
The light scribe diagnostic tool , finds everything to be in order .

Now i only need some( light scribe)  media , to start my tests .

Is there any advice of what to get ?

Probably Verbatim media... but I'm just saying that because Verbatim is usually a quality brand, not sure about LS media since I have never owned a drive with LS.

Yes Verbatim is the way to go, this is all I use.  They also come in many various colors as well now that produce nice results as well.
