I am happy with my LG GSA-H22N in my AMD rig.

I'd suggest an LG GSA-H22N and a Pioneer DVR-112D... Pioneers are excellent CD-R burners.  Newegg.com should have both of these drives.

Is this what I would need to put in my PC?To be able to add SATA DVD Drives;instead of IDE drives?

I have not heard anything good about the Promise SATA controllers and ODD... Adaptec makes a couple that supposedly work well with ODD.  You may want to search around NewEgg.com (that is where I buy most of my stuff) and read some reviews... some of the folks at CDFreaks forums may offer more insight here... I have not had the need for an add on SATA card.

Not sure if MP3Mogul uses one in his rig... perhaps if he stops by he can comment.
