Hi everyone, I recently tried to backup my LOTR-ROTK cds using discjuggler (for image creation and image burning) and a ricoh mp7080A cd-recorder. Unfortunately, the backups did not work (installation couldn't finish). So, I downloaded daemon tools and clone cd (heavy artillery-latest releases both!!!) and managed to make working images of the game (I tried the images using daemon tools and they worked fine!!!!!)Unfortunately (again!!!), after I burned the images using clone cd, the backups did not work again. So, I decided to copy the images as simple data files in a cd and to copy-paste them to my hd everytime I want to install a game. Since the computer can read the image of the game (using daemon tools), what's the bother to try to create a 1:1 copy of the game... i haven't yet copied the image files, as normal data files, to cds, but I don't think there will be any problems. What do you think of it? Can't this method work in most of the games running under strong protections like safedisc, securom etc? I NEED YOUR OPINION ON THIS [:o)]
