hi,
how do i know if my ps2 is chipped ?.the guy i bought if off said its chipped, but how do i check it.also does a non chipped ps2 play copied dvd's ?.

Hi asifqabil and Welcome to Our Forum !!!

No sorry you need a modified PS2 to play backed up games so if it don't play them it aint chipped !!!

Some of the copied Films will play on a unchipped PS2 so I suggest you try a copied Game that works on someone elses chipped machine that is the best way to find out !!!

can i use a copied ps1 game to see if its chipped, or does it have 2 be a ps2 copied game ?

Yes you can use a copied PS1 game to test.

You cannot be 100% sure if your console is modchiped by using a psx1 copied game.
There are modchips that does not supports psx1 games

This is true... I think what I meant was if it did play the copied PS1 game, it DOES have a Mod Chip. But, Jimmys is correct... not all modchps in the PS2 will play copied PS1 games. Good Point!
