I just purchased a new audio CD and it does not work in any of my CD-Rom Drives. I have tried four of them. TDK, Toshiba, Pioneer, and Mitsumi. But none of them can reconize the disk. I took it to one of the computer surplus places near me, he poped it in his drived and it played on Nero 6. So I installed Nero 6 on my computer and it still didn't work. I have Roxio and Nero, I think I've done about everything. Can someone please help me. All I want to do is transfer the song from the Disc. to my IPOD. I'm running a P4 2.0g. on windows 2000.
Thanks

Jack

It seems that your drives are not support this format.
There are some AudioCDs which can also play in normal players, there is an indication on the back, but this is something you should look before you purchase it.

Don't you have an AudioCD player? standalone non-PC?

Yes I do have a stand alone CD player. However, I want to be able to transfer the CD to my IPOD. Do you have any suggestions?

Get a Copy of EAC, it should rip the disc.  You Can download it here.
