Any suggestions for a best software to join 2 AVI files (4cc: XVID - AC3 (0x2000)) seamlessly?

Hello cooler
I suppose that any software that supports authoring of avi files could do your job.
All you have to do is just export the two or more imported files to one big file

But I'm not very much fond of idea blindly trying n+1 softwares, as removed ones tend to leave pieces behind. And not to mention how some softwares are making a mess of previously well configured system. I'd rather use well known and tried software first, as I have only those two files to join. Oh, well... if nothing simpler works... [|)]

Thanks, but I ended "archiving" (read: forgetting) those files to corner of HD... and my primary PC just died!
Just my luck to discover with another computer that most of the data from HD was lost...
This summer has really ruined my economy, as this was not a first loss!
