I need to get 4 dc fans .. 80mm ..

I was told about the 4 thermaltake fan kit I wanted to buy that they are very loud ..
so ... any1 got other suggestions ?(I dont want some expensive 80mm fan .. I want a fan that cost about ~10 US$)

What is more importand for you? Noise or CFM? If you need something quiet look for the lower dB or sone. I think AKASA has 80mm fans with 16dB. But if you need something with high air flow look the CFM to be the highest.

I need for something in between ..
better CFM than the currant fans I have .. but not so loud .. I dont wanna have a airport in my case ;)

In my opinion the Thermaltake kit is good since the fans have good CFM and there is also the regulator just in case of noise.

"...I need for something in between ..."
then a regulator would help you on this.
Just have on mind that a regulator will reduse the maximum rotation of a fan by 200rpm approximately, than if you have the same fan without the regulator, connected on the board. For me this is not an issue.

well .. I will check some fans abit more until I will actually go and buy 80mm fans .. ;)

For the noise there is the regulator, so you can reduse the rpm for a little.

One problem with many case fans, if the noise is measured in the clear, it will be quite a bit worse if mounted to a punched grille with only around 50% freedom - anyone that wants quiet and airflow needs to dremel the punched grille out and use a wire finger guard instead  ... don't even THINK of using a decorative grille, as they can be just as bad.
