Hi ppl, first off i gotta say this a real great forum. I found quite many usefull tips. But i couldnt find an aswer for my question. If their is a answer?

I was looking around to buy a PS2 console, but I cant decide witch model to get. I read up somehwere that some models are better then the rest . I was looking for one that would be the best to play backed up games and use the best mod chip available that will produce most compatibility.(offcourse the backed up games are going to be the ones that i buy )

BTW, i apologize ahead if i've missed this topic earlier.

Hi EX-CON and Welcome to Our Forum !!!

In my opinion the best Modchip available for the Playstation 2 is the Messiah 2 PRO it direct boots all PS2 CD/DVD backup and imported games and there is no need for any disk swapping !!!
PS2 games load exactly as they do on an original unmodified console and best of all you now have the ability to switch off the modchip so you can permit the PS2 to act as though there is no modchip fitted (transparent)!!!
As far as I know this is Compatible with all PS2 consoles Worldwide !!!
