Hi,

I'm new on the forum.. and have search throughout the ps2 section, and haven't really come across an answer to my question. My question is.. I have a Dell laptop with DVD+R burner, and I wondering if I can burn ps2 games on it.

Somebody please help me....

I think you should be able to without a problem, but you will need a "mod chip" installed in your player to be able to use them...

Hi,

Thanks and yes.. My PS2 is chipped with magic 3.1. Last night I try to back-up my GT3, but didn't work with DVD decryter. Actually I don't think I know how to use that program properly. [xx(] Anyone know how to use it?

I also try to use Nero 5. direct copy.. burned successfully

but when I try to load it.. it frezze after show the copyright title, never made it to the game menu.[xx(] Any suggestion on that?

I think the most compatible format for the ps2 console is the minus format.

Jimmys is absolutely correct, and now I look back and see you tried using a +R DVD.

Yep -R are best for the PS2 and +R for the X-Box !!!

Ok... so what you guys trying to say is.. "I'm stuffed!!" there is no way of me backing up my games, unless I go out and purchase another dvd-r writer. (Man.. the woman gonna go ape-sh*t when she find out I'm gonna spend more $$$ on this). [B)]

I'm just curious.. can I backup my games to CD-r?? If yes, which program is good for it?
