Hello, I'm new on this, I have a Dell Inspiron 5150 and today I just got a new NEC ND-6500A. I'm reading about firmware and some other stuff but what should I do to star using it and not getting it damage? Can some one let me know the steps I have to do in order to use it? also which DVD you recomend?

As for which burner to get, I recomment the BenQ 1640, if you mean PC DVD.
