i have recovered my friends comp and i get a messege that there is a missing file system32/hal.dll i need to know how to solve it and if it is possible for me to go on another comp and burn that file on a dvd and install it again on my friends comp and will that solve the issue. or if there r other ways of doing it plz tell me i need help on this one badly

how about searching around www.google.com for a copy of that specific dll file?

yea ui already have the file downloaded i wanted to know how to install it back on the comp since the comp wont even start windows or do i have to order a cd recovery and reinstall the whole thing over
